Prayer
First Baptist Church is deeply committed to the ministry of prayer and praise. Prayer is to faith as breathing is to life. We believe prayer is essential to being a growing and effective church. In January 2005, the W. Cason Bruker Prayer Room was dedicated and a Pager Prayer Ministry was established.
Our prayer ministry offers many ways to serve and at a number of different levels. From our Intercessory Prayer Team to Prayer Groups that meet throughout the week, to our times of worship and prayer on Sundays and Wednesday evenings, First Baptist Church is a community of prayer. We invite you to get involved in the spiritual journey of prayer.
Do you have a prayer request or a praise report that you would like to share? If so, please send it to us via email. Be assured that people throughout the church will be both praying for you and your concerns, and rejoicing with you.
