Youth Praise Bands
The Middle School Praise Band, Apprentice, regularly leads worship for our middle school students on Wednesday evenings. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., prior to their worship time at 6:15 p.m. Apprentice is led by Jay Frye. This is a great opportunity for youth to develop their musical talents to be used for God’s glory!
The High School Praise Band, Pilgrimz, regularly leads worship (The Race) for our high school students on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. They rehearse on Monday evenings at 5:00 p.m. and are led by Larry Fletcher. Participation in this band is demanding and helps youth develop their skills for worship leadership and helps them foster a servant’s heart for the church.
Both bands support in Celebration Singers and often lead in our REACH worship service.
Youth Handbells is for students in grades 6-12. This group meets Sunday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Daniel Building. More advanced students are invited to participate with our Sanctuary Ringers (Adult Handbells).
