The Preschool Program began in the fall of 1977. The program is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission for academic standards. There is a staff of 12 teachers and 4 para-professionals. Because of our accreditation standards, the program follows Columbia County’s school calendar and does meet 180 school days.
The program, which meets from 9:00 to 1:00, consists of K3, K4, and K5 classes (3, 4, and 5 year olds). Click here for a map of our location and campus.

Parent’s Pick
The Weekday Education program was Metro Augusta Parent’s Pick for the area’s best preschool, stating, “Your children couldn’t be in better hands.” They continued by writing, “Metro Augusta Parent readers don’t easily trust their children to other people’s care, but there’s something about the reassuring face of Patti Fowler, minister of weekday education at First Baptist Church in Augusta, that lets parents know that their little one’s will be OK in her care.” |

PIE: Parents In Education
Parents are invited to work 1 hour each month in a 3 or 4 year old class. It is a great opportunity to give back to the preschool program and to learn some of the wonderful ways the child learn every day! If you are interested please contact Mrs. Patti: (706)731-5366 or click here to email. |
